Our thoughts create our reality.  So, if you don’t like your reality or you want a greater harvest, then you must learn to master your thoughts. Consequently, when you master your thoughts, you master your life. This is why the practice of mindfulness is a crucial component of being an Authentic Leader.

Our mind is like a garden. If tended to, we can harvest the beautiful plants and flowers that we planted. However, if it goes untended, it will be over run with weeds. Weeds choke out the plants and flowers that we want to grow and flourish.

Mindfulness is the practice of observing one’s thoughts and weeding out or canceling out those that counter growth, health, wellness and prosperity. It is the practice of living in the moment and not allowing your mind to waminiature-1700629_1920nder aimlessly in the desert.

One great way to do this is by saying thank you to all that is good in your life. To give notice to the grace all around you. The rain, the trees, flowers, air, smiles from others, your successes, your gifts and talents. In fact, this practice alone will help you to create more of what you want in your life.
In so doing, you become aware of how what you think about is what you bring about. Your thoughts truly do create your reality.
